I recently worked as composer and sound designer on Broke & Sober, a new piece of theatre written and performed by Sam Cole. The show was part of Birmingham Repertory Theatre’s Foundry Festival 2019. It tells the story of an army veteran who served in Iraq and returns home with PTSD and his life in chaos. The play charts his battles with alcohol and drugs as he tries to manage his mental health while struggling to put his chaotic life back together.
