I’ve been working on the sound design for a new theatrical soundwalk by Talking Birds. Walk With Me Willenhall is the third walk in a series that explores the social history of different neighbourhoods in the city of Coventry. Written by Stephanie Ridings, the walk explores the landmarks, history, people and stories of the area as told by a guide with a mysterious device that can tune into soundwaves from the past. Walkers can hear these soundscapes via wireless headphones as they walk a route around the local area.

Originally scheduled for Spring 2020, the work was postponed due to the covid lockdown but group guided walks are planned for 9, 10, 17, 18 October 2020. The walks are free but booking is required. For more info on booking and covid policy please visit the Talking Birds website.
